Dirty Birds Rally
A few scenes from Atlanta’s kickoff celebration for the 2026 Falcons season.
About this Story
With the Falcons set to play their first home game of the season on Sunday, the Dirty Birds Rally was Atlanta's chance to officially welcome the team back home. Players mixed it up with fans, musical guests kept the crowd moving and Soulja Boy — easily my favorite performance of the night — reminded everyone of just how many songs we apparently still know word for word. By the end of the night, fireworks were in the sky and another Dirty Birds Rally was in the books.
The last few seasons haven't exactly been easy for Falcons fans (and that's probably putting it nicely). But every new season gives you another reason to believe. I'm always hopeful for this team, but maybe even more so for this city — the one that welcomed me with open arms all those years ago and has felt like home ever since.
These are a few of the faces, details and moments that caught my eye as Atlanta welcomed the Dirty Birds back.
